Funny writing style, short compilation of blog entries. Too much stumping for his novel, though.

This is a quick read and thoroughly delightful. Gompertz's tales of life as an expat in Barcelona are fun and funny. I laughed out loud throught the entire book. Fun and uplifting. Read it!

Some essays here are somewhat amusing, some try too hard to be amusing. I'd have to say R.S. Gompertz is a better essayist than a novelist at this point. At least with the essays they're over sooner than the novels, so that's worth 2 stars right there!
