I don't understand a single thing about this comic. Not a single thing.

Happy to find this sweet little Firefly story among the offerings for Free Comic Book Day.

Just wanted to preface this review by saying that I received this book on Free Comic Book Day 2016 at Up, Up, and Away in Blue Ash, Ohio. I cannot recommend that comic book store enough. Anyway, this teeny tiny comic broke my heart. It had a frame story of River babysitting (view spoiler)[Zoe and Wash's(hide spoiler)] baby (Emma, I think? Was that her name?) and entertaining her by telling her a whimsical fairytale version of the crew's history called the "Warrior and the Wind". It was heartbrea [...]

You can read this review and others on my blog at awriterswife-bcrayWell, I have to say I was disappointed in this. I was hoping for a story from the Firefly or Serenity stories…but instead it was just River telling a “bedtime story” with some strange twists to a Zoe’s baby. I haven’t actually watched Serenity yet (we own it but haven’t watched it), though I know they killed off a lot of the characters, so perhaps I would have liked it more if I’d watched that. I believe it probabl [...]

Nice little Serenity story for Free Comic Book Day 2016. Comes after Leaves on the Wind.

the Hellboy and Aliens bits are better than the Serenity bit.

4 starsGood comics. Liked them, though not as much as the others I've read. Liked the Serenity comic. Thought Hellfire and Alien was okay. Can't wait to read more Serenity comics!!!!

There may have been a tear.

A lovely and heart-felt imagining of Walsh and Zoe's relationship.

This is a nice little remembrance of Wash and the whole series of Firefly. It's done in a cute and comical way, just like Wash would have liked it to be told. There is no real story, and nothing really happens - but still it's a nice read.

The Firefly story was AMAZING, wonderfully sweet and just beautifully illustrated. Gives me hope for the new series. The Hellboy story was OK, kind of disjointed or incomplete. The Alien story was almost incomprehensible oh, in that way it totally fits with Promethus!

I really enjoyed the Firefly story (The Warrior and the Wind). The Hellboy and Aliens stories failed to interest me, however.

A lovely continuation of the lives of the Serenity crew.
