Very interesting and enlightening reading. One of the most weird findings is the book was where an old landing issue created a catastrophe 20 years later. It feels so unreal to actually realize the consequences of our doings so much later. Usually you would never think that this decision will come haunting you 20 years later, but seems in aviation it can and those decisions can be backtracked through time.
A solid and objective coverage of accident investigations. If you watch Aviation accident TV shows this is the book equivalent. I covers a mix of aircraft types, countries and situations.
I'm going to post this for both the 2001 and the 2002 books, because they're pretty similar. I thought the 2001 was slightly more interesting than the 2002 volume for some reason. Also, the formatting of the ebook I read was somewhat better for the 2001 volume than the 2002.I find aircraft crash investigations fascinating. I enjoy this author's written voice & her approach to sorting out what went wrong that led to airplane crashes. This book was very interesting to me.
