When I saw Dan Jurgens was writing Bat-Mite, I cringed as he's not really known for his humor. But this was funnier than expected. Gridlock was an appropriate villain for current times but I felt he missed some opportunities with the character. I enjoyed Howell's art on the series.

Whatis group rating is too low. Jurgens script is funny while also being topicald goes places I didn't think he would go.And Bat-mite is both lovable while also we find we can understand why he is frustrating. I laughed out loud a few times.

Although I enjoyed the art by Corin Howell, Dan Jurgens's script for this Bat-Mite miniseries just didn't hit it with me. Lots of gags that weren't funny, and cameos by DC stars that seemed forced and unnecessary. It was great to see the Inferior 5 again, but even their comedic roles weren't enough to salvage this.

This is one of those books that is trying so hard to be funny, but can't quite pull it off. There are a couple of decent moments, but overall it's a lot of silly set-ups that don't ever pay off their situations. Bat-Mite has been exiled from his dimension and decides to do 'make-overs' on DC heroes. This gives him one-issue sets with Hawkman, Damien, Booster Gold, and the Inferior Five while he is interacting with new villain Gridlock (his power is he makes things stop. Really). I've got fond me [...]

Collects Bat-Mite issues #1-6 and DC Sneak Peek: Bat-Mite #1I wanted to like this more than I did, and in the end I found it to be just so-so. There were funny parts, but then there were also stupid parts. I could see a younger audience liking this more, however they would miss a lot of the Easter Egg-filled jokes. There were multiple DC superhero appearances in this book, but not even Booster Gold could ultimately save it. It seems like the writer, Dan Jurgens, had time to write a wrap-up to th [...]

I had hoped for something funnier, honestly. There were some funny bits, but overall it was just kind of boring. I did like the art, though, and the redesigns for Hawkman and Booster Gold were pretty funny.

Boring at first i liked it but after a while i didnt

Mildly amusing in parts but mostly blah. Legends of the Dark Mite was much funnier

Bat-Mite is a quick read filled with camp, alliteration, and references. A lot of my joy from reading this, was the thinking back to the camp of Batman '66 and the silliness of those older comics. The story is not the deepest, but what do you expect from Bat-Mite?

This was a very silly, sometimes innane, and often funny little series. I have applauded DC for trying many different genres of comic over the past five years or so, and bringing back actually FUNNY comic books is the latest. Honestly, they haven't all been amazing attempts (I thought the Klarion series was just about the most awful comic every published!), but I can't say they haven't attempted to create interest in war comics, westerns, villain books, and even classic Jack Kirby stuff like OMA [...]

Real moment: Halfway through this volume, I was about to toss it aside and imagine terrible, painful, downright torturous things happening to Bat-Mite, all with a smile on my face. But I didn't. Something told me it would get better, that BM (heh) would stop being such an irritating PoS, and that the plots would come together, and the characters would develop intowell.hing. And it did get better. There was a point. The characterswellwhatever. And BM, boy-howdy, I'm still looking forward to him b [...]

If this book had more of Bat-Mite trying to "fix" DC's characters, that'd be funnier than what this book actually contains, which is lots of Mite trying to befriend everyone he meets and some particularly tone-deaf humor. (A bit where Mite tries to reform some presidential candidates in the form of Jeb offering Fried Chicken Fridays, Hillary changing her outfit, and Bernie acting like a faux-rapper was particularly groan-worthy)

A bit light on the plot side of things, but the art is expressive and fun. All in all a fun read

Hilarious and adorable. +1 for the Donald trump burn in it.

Unlike Bizarro,This isn't very funny.A bit flat, DC.

Silly, stupid, and very funny. The final page had me giggling like an idiot. I hope it comes back soon.

The writing wasn't strong enough. Jokes fall flat. I dunno. YMMV.
