vigilante serial killer with the brilliant mind teams with fbi to apprehend a serial killer. the plot is unlikely and implausible. but the vigilante is an intriguing character as is the haunted agent forced to work with him.
I really enjoyed how Mitch developed the characters. The main character, Kellen, was not a super hero. I liked how he made her human with issues to overcome. The story itself was a quick read which I appreciate. I recommend this book and am looking forward to reading the next installment.
Good plotThe main character wasn't the person the author tried to depict. I felt that she was meant to be a strong lead and ended up being weak, scared, and dependent on others. Things were to contradictory.
Thanks Mitch Thanks Mitch it's good to cheer for the bad guy. These are characters I can truly relate to. Keep them coming.
This was a solid suspenseful novel. This is a great read. The pacing is great and the characters are well laid out. Sure a bit more character development would have worked but that is just my opinion. It is worth the time. It is a good book.
A serial killer had struck again in Texas. Eleven bodies in two years, all teenage girls, no clues left behind and the authorities felt helpless waiting for the next body to appear hoping for a sign to direct them to the killer. FBI agent Kellen Monello, no stranger to the effects of a murder on a family, had her own personal demons; hence her regular visits to her therapist Dr. Remi Fromholt. The wait for the shoe to drop came, eighteen-year-old Megan Mickelson was abducted in Dallas and knowin [...]
Set in the backdrop of an fbi bau member working with a vigilante serial killer to catch another serial killer. The novella is really about how one person can affect the psyche of another. Well written but has its unbelievable points. No justice system would put a convicted murderer on the street with only a single agent to cover them! Ezra is almost Machiavellian in his thought processes. Kellen is driven by her own demons. It will be interesting to see follow up stories take this relationship. [...]
Three StarsThree Stars. This story did not focus on the thoughts or feelings of the antagonist like I am used to. So it was refreshing to read. I still prefer an author who takes me into the mind of the killer.
To catch a killerReally enjoyed reading this book. I do wish that Mitch would have delved more into the why's and minds of the serial killers. Looking forward to reading the next book and maybe getting some answers.
A good read who done it book.I liked the book, it was right on track and kept on moving. I would recommend this book for a person who likes this kind of story line.
Good book I'm looking for the next one it kept me very intrigued
Predictable, highly unlikely story line, but suspenseful. It also leave the opportunity for numerous sequels. Reminds me a bit of the TV show Blacklist. Not great, but okay for a quick read.
Nice quick easy read , will look to read more in this series
An interesting readI enjoyed this book it was a easy read no complicated story lines I would recommend this book for people who like in-depth stories
