What worked: LofE seems to be a series that is dedicated to some serious action scenes. Reform didn't disappoint at all. What's different though is that we've left the Elementals for now and are following Aelek from Book 2. I have to admit that I wasn't that bothered about Aelek and Princess Yiseem in the second book but they really came into their own in this book. In fact, I would even go as far to say that Yiseem reminds me a little of Celaena Sardothien: she doesn't take no for an answer, sh [...]

To start off I would like to note that I was granted a beta copy of this book. With that said I will be completely honest. The book started out great, but around mid way through it became difficult to keep my attention. However, after I made it further in to the story and was introduced to more new characters my interest was peaked again.
