Race Riot by Glenn LangohrPrison Killers Volume 1The tension is high. Two inmates have just attacked two others of a different race. Now that the two Mexican leaders have been moved out of the building, who will take their place? And when will the retribution come… always does. This happens as BJ walks toward his cell after just returning from an appeal to the Supreme Court. He freely admits to the drug charges….but not all the other charges they added to it. His appeal is denied. In Race Rio [...]

Overall I thought Race Riot was a compelling story of Glenn's experience behind prison walls. Brief view into the tragic scene of a prisoners life in lock-up. I can admit this book has been my hardest yet to review. As seen through a prisoners eyes, the display of power of the races is something that inmates have to deal with, constant threat of stabbing, privacy invasion by prison officials, solitude and grief. I found myself conflicted as I have a husband in Criminal Justice, and having never [...]

So this is the second book by Glenn that I have read, overall it was an intriguing story to read about Glenn’s experience in prison. However I did find a lot of issues with this book. The book was very short and had a lot of grammatical errors. I found it very hard to follow and there were a lot of run on sentences. I found that very disappointing because I really like the first book I read by Glenn and I was really looking forward to this one but I am afraid to say it fell short for me. I rea [...]

If you spent years In prison, what would you do? Glenn wrote a book and it was surely a good choice. This short story is better from prison fiction, because it’s real. While I was reading I asked myself – who is really leading in prisons? Does prison change you? That’s what it is about.I found some little editor mistakes, like a dot missing, but author already told me he’ll change t, so it doesn’t matter. Are you tired of cute stories about love in prison and people suddenly changing fro [...]

Hard to follow, makes no sense in parts and VERY short. I knew it was short when I bought it but to anyone else who is thinking about this, it is only 28 pages and written very poorly. I usually love books that are written about prison and if you do too then save your money and get one that is written better.

An interesting, detailed look at life behind bars, this book tells those of us who have never experienced this world about the reality of prison life and what it takes to survive. I have found all of this authors works to be very insightful.

I wrote it and narrated it, so of course I loved it. I can't figure out how to get this website to let me claim it as a book I wrote.
