They say third times a charm, in this case, I think not. After Hunted, the second in the series, I wasn't feeling very optimistic about continuing on with the series. However, I decided to give book three a try and see if all hope could not be lost. I wanted to be wrong, I did, only in the end, it wasn't true. To be entirely honest, I did actually like this one better than the second, but, that's not saying much because this wasn't without it's flaws. In truth, Vanishing Point lacks in originalit [...]

This is set in a small town where everyone knows everyone or they think they do, Chase is a still under suspicion for a murder that happened 10 years ago to his then ex girlfriend. He has a perfect alibi but her family are convinced he murdered her. Annie has er own shop which is unfortunately damaged and has to be rebuilt. Fate pushes them together but they are both carrying lots of baggage so things are not smooth. I wasn't aware this was the 3rd book in the series when I read it only when I c [...]

I have read the entire series and this was my least favorite. I am not saying that I did not enjoy reading it but it just did not grab hold of me like the other books did. This book was fill of some twists and turns that were surprising and that was enjoyable. Thank you for allowing me to read this and write honestly about it.

Received a copy via Netgalley in exchange for an honest reviewChase is a still under suspicion of his ex girlfriends murdee from 10 years ago even though he has an alibi her family still thinks he killed her. Annie’s shop is damanged and she needs to rebuild. Things do not go smoothly when fate oushes them together I wasn't aware this was the 3rd book in the series when I read it

Finished yesterday afternoon -- easy read but sometimes an easy read is just what I need. I couldn't put it down, I really liked it. My only complaint was this was book three in a series and I didn't know it until about half way through. It wasn't crucial to the story line but it would have made me more familiar with some of the supporting characters. What it DID make me do however, was immediately download the first book in the series -- I started it yesterday afternoon and finished it this mor [...]

Well, now we are on round three of this series and I haven't been disappointed yet. Chase Hudson is the brother of Beth Hudson whom we met in Under the Moon's Shadow. He is a successful attorney in Leroy, IN, with a major loss in his past. His fiance, Kieley was murdered and her killer has never been caught. Now women around Leroy are being killed and the murders are much like Kieley's. Determined to put the past behind him once and for all Chase begin to look into these murders. What he didn't [...]

I KEPT THINKING OF MURDER SHE WROTE AND HOW THE SMALL TOWN OF LEROY REMINDED ME OF CABOT COVE. THIS HAS AN OLDTIME FEEL TO IT LIKE TV USED TO BE IT DOES HAVE A HUGH CAST OF CHARACTERS TO KEEP UP WITH (thank goodness it has a score card in the beginning). I WAS GLAD IT WAS A STANDALONE SERIES BECAUSE I TRY TO AVOID CLIFF HANGER BOOKS. DON’T GET ME WRONG I DON’T MIND SERIES I JUST WANT EACH BOOK TO END ON A COMPLETE NOTE. IT WAS MIDLY SEXUAL, LOT OF LOVE AND CARING BETWEEN FAMILY AND FRIENDS, [...]

A well-written and entertaining instalment in the 'Leroy' series by T.L. Haddix. The romance is again very entertaining and the characters are well-developed. Love that we continue to interact with characters from previous books and see what they're up to. Mystery wise, I would suggest this is the weakest of T.L. Haddix storylines - the perpetrator came completely out of left field and I felt a bit disappointed because the character is a recurring one - and the one I'd least expect to be the bad [...]

Another WinnerThis is the third book in the series, and to me they keep getting better. A hunt for a serial killer, romances happening all over, with some laugh out loud moments. These are the kind of stories that remind me of why I love to read. The past few years I have only read paranormal romance, which I still love, but lately I felt the need for romance and suspense books. This series fulfills the need and keeps me coming back for more, can't wait for the rest of the series.

Another great Shadows Collection Novel!I love these clean romance novels filled with suspense and intrigue. T. L. Haddix weaves a special blend of charming characters with mysterious and dangerous people to cause enough havoc with this group. I love that the Shadows Collection is incorporating the lives and stories of all the characters from the first novel and continues the storylines of all so there is no need to guess at what else you might be missing from all the lives of those in the town o [...]

Really enjoyed this 3rd book in the series. I'm now used to the characters and invested in them. I like the way the author has a focus on a different set of folks from Leroy in each book but still has others we met previously in the current story. This book had a strong mystery thought I had it all figured out and then I was surprised when the serial killer was revealed. As always, there is also a dose of someone finding love in the midst of turmoil not enough to classify it as a romance novel [...]

Good plot, BUTWell written but since I have read her other book series, the f bombs started about 1/2 way through the book and really were not necessary. I will check out the language out before I read another one. I was really disappointed in the author's continual use of offensive language,

SHADOWS FROM THE GRAVESweet, suspenseful romance- good characters, good plot. I already liked Chase from the previous books, he had been a bit of a mysterious guy - this book gets his story out there.

Love this book.

Just started this book and already has kept me wanting to read more.

Shadows from a GraveVery good novel. Lots of suspense, just a touch of gore and a little romance with family dynamics thrown in for good measure m

I'm enjoying this series on my Fire. Mystery and romance thrown into the mix.

This is a pretty good series if you like a little murder/mystery and slight relationshipy stuff. Can't say I was expecting the murderer to turn to to be who it was.

This is book three in the Leroy series. It had an exciting plot and interesting characters.

I love this series! I think the author does a fantastic jobI am attached to these characters!
