OTTO wants to purposely mess with his family. He goes to Mother (while she is still in bed with Dr.) and tells her that he hates the life she’s living, hates the fact that she’s with Dr and that he is becoming Chinese. He also tells her and Dr. that his twin brother no longer exists to him and he found a replacement twin. I found it a bit muddled; it was hard to imagine how this play would be staged. The use of asides and breakage of the fourth wall were clever, but overdone to the point of excess--which is probably the biggest downfall of the play. The characters all consistantly yell at each for not paying attention and everyone repeats themselves five hundred different ways to get a single point across.
